News from the Virginia Council

Dear Fellow Patriots,

I am thrilled to announce that Xi Van Fleet will be speaking at The Virginia Forum! As a dedicated American patriot, she passionately educates others about the perils of communism. Join us on September 25th at 7 PM at the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. At The Virginia Council, our mission is to preserve history, and Xi Van Fleet's experiences serve as a crucial reminder of the consequences of neglecting our historical legacy. Her story is both timely and cautionary.

Xi Van Fleet, author of the book entitled “Mao's America: A Survivor's Warning”,  describes herself as “Chinese by birth; American by choice, survivor of Mao's Cultural Revolution, defender of liberty.” She was born in China, lived through the Cultural Revolution, and was sent to work in the countryside at the age of 16 for re-education. After Mao's death she was able to go to college and eventually came to America for graduate study. She has lived in the United States since 1986. In 2021, she delivered a school board speech in Loudoun County, Virginia against Critical Race Theory that went viral and ignited national conservative media attention. She now devotes herself full time to warning Americans of the danger of Marxist ideology and the parallels between the two Cultural Revolutions, one in China more than 50 years ago and one unfolding in America today. Since going public with her message, Xi Van Fleet has appeared on Fox News, TuckerCarlson.com, Newsmax and radio shows and podcasts across the country. We are lucky to have her as our next speaker and I hope you will join us!
