The Virginia Council advances understanding of Virginia's role in America's legacy by protecting its founding principles and historic symbols through open and balanced civic education. We pursue truth to equip citizens to think clearly about constitutional institutions, defend God-given freedoms, and foster conditions in which all can prosper.

In a polarized era where distortion erodes trust, we move citizens from quiet concern to active stewardship of the republic. Here is how we plan to deliver on that promise this year and beyond.

Educate

Ground citizens in Virginia's constitutional heritage

Host quarterly Virginia Forum sessions featuring high-profile speakers and moderated dialogue on civic themes
Deliver civic education workshops with scholars presenting competing arguments on America's first principles
Expand "Uncancelling" History & Heroes seminars to examine enduring philosophical and ethical questions
Convene the Virginia Media Summit to equip journalists and bloggers with tools for accurate, transparent reporting

Engage

Convert interest into sustained civic participation

Launch Patriot Assemblies at historic sites with structured dialogue, policy experts, and portrayals of founding figures
Strengthen bi-monthly member meetings with issue-leaders to build community and deepen civic commitment
Redesign membership pathways and benefits to position membership as an ongoing civic commitment
Improve event-to-membership conversion by creating intentional engagement opportunities at every program
Advance the Legal Fund to restore Virginia's monuments to places of public visibility and education
