News from The Virginia Council 10/27/24

Dear Fellow Patriots,

“Don’t wait around for someone else to save you, take action here!”
Kevin Sorbo, actor and founder of Sorbo Studios

In that one quote on Wednesday night at The Virginia Forum, Kevin Sorbo, during his funny, compelling and moving presentation, summed up how The Virginia Council was formed and why we exist!

Kevin told us the story about how he had been cancelled by his longtime agent and publicist for being too provocative and publicly Christian and conservative. But instead of collapsing and becoming despondent or angry he found friends and investors and started his own movie studio. One that is producing highly successful and lucrative films today!

If that sounds vaguely familiar, there’s a reason.

In Virginia, back in 2021, we had grown tired of leftist domination of culture and politics, as well as the illegal chaos and violence that was destroying not just public art but the rule of law, public safety, and our culture in general. So, we started The Virginia Council.

Across the nation normal, educated, thoughtful and respectful people are not just cursing the growing darkness but lighting candles to find a path back to success, peace and prosperity.

Wherever you are in the Commonwealth we invite you to join us as we grow our activism, education, and outreach efforts. Volunteer to help us if you can, but if that’s not an option for you, please consider making a donation to us! With your financial support, we can expand in 2025 to other cities and suburbs in the Old Dominion. As our name indicates, we want to be a voice for ALL Virginians – not just those who live in the capital city region.

Please keep your eyes open for an invite and ticket opportunities for our upcoming events, including our post-election wrap-up at our monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 13th; our Wednesday, December 11th Christmas Party on the former Monument Avenue; and next year's Virginia Forum speaker series.

Oh… and whatever you do… please make sure you VOTE before Election Day. This could be the most important election ever for the future of the rule of law and the basic values of our American society!
