News from the Virginia Council

Dear Fellow Patriots,

You know I was in Milwaukee for the GOP convention a few weeks ago and my radio job took me to Chicago this week for the Democrats too.

It strikes me every time I visit one of these iconic cities that almost everything tourists and other visitors take pictures of is something from the past. With the exception of an occasional new skyscraper, the most revered artwork and statuary and even the beautiful infrastructure and planning are actually leftover from our ancestors. In many cases- distant ancestors.

Why then are so many modern Americans angry with and judgmental of everyone who lived before us? And more shockingly- why are so many eager to erase people who somehow fall short of an ever-changing set of moral lists?

As a people we need to set aside this new arrogance and self-centeredness and respect the people and work that preceded us.

At The Virginia Council- in the land that became the laboratory of American freedom and success- we are working to educate and advocate for this reasonable and thoughtful recalculation.

And with our upcoming monthly meeting on Wednesday, September 18th we will expose some of the people and groups working to undermine our republic. Please join us for a special presentation by Robert Stilton, senior research associate at the Capital Research Center, on “Dark Money in Politics.” Details and RSVP here.

And tickets are selling fast for next month's Virginia Forum with noted author and advocate against Communism- Xi Van Fleet.

With her book “Mao's America“ and her almost daily TV appearances on Fox and Newsmax, Xi is becoming one of the nation's strongest voices warning against the siren song of socialism and communism. Her Forum presentation – “Cultural Revolutions: China Then and America Now” is sure to be timely, compelling – and fascinating as she explores the horrific similarities between the waves of destruction that swept China in the 1960s and now threaten America's heritage and history.

Make sure you're with us for this important event on Wednesday, September 25! And you can meet Xi and get an autographed copy of her book with a special VIP ticket. Details here!

I look forward to seeing you as I travel around the state in the coming weeks! Thank you for your support!
