News from the Virginia Council

Dear Fellow Patriots,

Last Sunday, we didn't fully know just how bad the destruction was in Virginia from the terrible winds and subsequent flooding from hurricane Helene. This week, Virginians have rallied to gather supplies and provisions to help their neighbors who are suffering. It's heartening to see that the good instincts and generosity of our society can still rise to meet a terrible unexpected challenge.
Please click here for ways you can help.

I am acutely aware that people of faith empathize with those in need. That's another reason that we should not allow those who espouse traditional Judeo-Christian values to be driven from popular culture and public life.

Our next speaker at The Virginia Forum has a story to tell about how Hollywood and entertainment bullies deliberately harm and derail the career of anyone who dares to proclaim their faith or conservative political beliefs.

Kevin Sorbo, who is best known as Hercules on the big screen and TV, will share his experiences over decades in Hollywood. It's a tough, outrageous, but very inspiring story! Kevin could not be kept down and he will tell you why!

I have no doubt you will want to hear him in person  in just over two weeks. And with our VIP ticket you can meet Kevin at an exclusive reception before the show starts! This event will sell out and VIP tickets are almost gone so lock in today… tickets are available here.

Let's pray for those in need in Virginia and for everyone doing good work to help our people, preserve our past, and advance our future.

John Reid
Founding Chairman
The Virginia Council

Think Hollywood has been taken over by nefarious forces? Well Kevin Sorbo has been fighting for conservative values in Hollywood for years and he is ready to share that story with you. Join us for an evening of surprises as Kevin recounts his experience with Hollywood and what he has done, and continues to do, to fight for his beliefs as a Christian conservative.

Kevin Sorbo received international stardom when he booked the lead role in “Hercules, the Legendary Journeys” which went on to become the most watched TV show in the world. Following that success, Sorbo had the lead role as “Captain Dylan Hunt” in “Gene Roddenberry's, Andromeda”.

Sorbo has shot over 80 movies, most notably: What If, God's Not Dead, Soul Surfer, Reagan, Let There Be Light, Miracle in East Texas and Left Behind: Rise of the Anti-Christ.

He has also appeared in over 20 television shows such as “Just Shoot Me”, “Two and a Half Men”, “Dharma and Greg”, “According to Jim”, “Gary Unmarried”, “Psych”, “Hawaii 5-0”, and “The OC”.

Sorbo has produced and narrated other documentaries such as: Exodus, Proof of Evidence, Before the Wrath, Climate Hustle 2 , Against the Tide, The Quest for the Throne, and Eating With the Enemy.

Kevin released his memoir, “True Strength: My Journey from Hercules to Mere Mortal and How Nearly Dying Saved My Life”. He also co-wrote the follow up book, “True Faith, Embracing Adversity to Live in God's Light”, with his wife, Sam. His latest release is a children's book with Brave Books: The Test of Lionhood.

Sorbo also received the Lee Greenwood American Patriot Award in 2022.

He is the spokesperson for the number one after-school program in California since 1997: A World Fit For Kids.

Sorbo resides in Florida with his wife, Sam and three children.
