Merry Christmas friends! We were delighted to welcome guests from so many backgrounds and faiths to our annual Christmas party this week.
One thing we all share is a profound respect and appreciation for our ancestors and the divine inspiration and benevolence of God who has delivered in Virginia one of the most miraculous systems of government and commerce and shared values ever seen in humanity.
Through every conflict Virginia emerges better and stronger-just as our founding fathers wanted when they crafted our ingenious founding documents.
We celebrate them and our future with our events!
This year’s Christmas party was held in the grand Monument Avenue home of the late Helen Marie Taylor - an inspiring woman who held deep and passionate respect for Virginia and for American history.
Old Richmonders will remember that it was Helen Marie who stood in front of bulldozers to stop the paving over of the historic avenue where she lived. She was a lady but also a fighter!
Throughout her long life she remained an outspoken advocate for the best principles in our culture and society and we were honored to pay tribute to her inside the historic home that she so lovingly preserved.
I hope her story and our work inspires you to join us in this fight against the cultural purge that has devastated our country.
We are on the forefront of efforts to protect and preserve not just art and monuments and memorials but also the best traditions that inspired their creation. We can learn so much from studying the people and struggles of the past with curiosity instead of condemnation.
Please write back if in 2025 you’d like to join us as a volunteer activist and organizer or if you can contribute financially to help us bring reason and responsibility to this chaotic and difficult time in our history. Donate HERE.
I hope these last weeks of December will be peaceful and inspiring for us all!
We are thankful for you!
Sincerely,
